After TikTok, The ministry of Information and Technology of India has banned PUBG game all over the nation. Not only PUBG along with other 118 Chinese app it is banned. The government is requesting to uninstall these apps and cooperate with the Indian Government.
This is the ultimate reason due to the dispute between the Indian government and the Chinese government political and the border matters.In a statement by the Ministry, "This move will safeguard the interests of crores of Indian mobile and internet users. This decision is a targeted move to ensure safety, security and sovereignty of Indian cyberspace." The statement says that these Chinese app is mining and profiling the data of the users from the India which may discloses the privacy and the security of the people, ultimately impinges upon the sovereignty and integrity of India.
In June, the government banned 59 mobile apps including Bytedance's TikTok, Alibaba's UC Browser and We Chat, also citing security concerns.The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, under the Ministry of Home Affairs also sent a recommendation for blocking these controversial apps
